Steep Garden Landscaping in Nailsworth Town

Above the market town of Nailsworth in the Five Valleys, we terraced a steep, tight-access plot to create usable levels. The project includes an Indian Sandstone (Fossil Buff) entertaining terrace with utilities, railway sleeper retaining with a new irrigated planting bed, and Cotswold stone–faced steps to the upper level—blending practicality with classic Cotswold character.

Paving and Turfing, Slimbridge - Cotswolds

Close to the famous Slimbridge Wetland Centre, this project combined fresh lawn installation, premium porcelain paving, and discreet new garden electrics. Working with our trusted Dursley electrician, we brought safe, hidden power to the shed, while high-quality turf and paving from local suppliers gave the garden a clean, modern finish — a great example of landscaping in Slimbridge and the Cotswolds.

Bespoke Summer House in Chalford, Cotswolds

In Chalford, near Stroud, we designed and built a timber summer house complete with Venetian-style battening, a Vista Lux roof system, and custom benches. The structure creates an all-weather retreat that filters light, reduces wind, and provides a versatile space for entertaining, relaxing, or working outdoors — a perfect example of bespoke garden design in the Cotswolds.

Pool Restoration in Nailsworth, Cotswolds

At a property in Nailsworth, we carried out a full swimming pool restoration — repairing cracks, acid washing and re-tiling, and re-laying the coping stones. We also upgraded all services, lighting, plumbing, and filtration, and installed a modern air source heat pump. The result is a fully revitalised pool that looks stunning and performs to modern standards.

Decking & Staircase in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire

In the centre of Nailsworth, we built a raised timber deck complete with a bespoke staircase and classic spindle balustrade. Constructed on a strong stilt-like frame with regulation-standard joists, the deck creates a durable suntrap perfect for relaxing or entertaining in this Cotswold garden.

Stone Step Restoration in Barton End, Nailsworth

This stone restoration project in Barton End involved re-cutting and replacing broken steps with stone from local suppliers Willcox Snell Masonry. We blended old and new seamlessly before restoring and repainting the handrails with Hammerite for strength and longevity. A safe and stylish entrance brought back to life with traditional craftsmanship.

Landscaping and Lawn Installation Horsley, Stroud

Starting with a blank canvas, this Horsley landscaping project included stone edging, a retaining wall, and over 10 tonnes of fresh topsoil. We shaped and compacted the ground, carved a curved stone pathway, and levelled the garden ready for new lawn installation — creating structure and character in a once-plain outdoor space.

A full transformation of a Nailsworth town garden, including clearance of weeds and shrubs, installation of a reclaimed Indian sandstone patio with radiating steps, and new planting beds enriched with topsoil. This project blends hard landscaping with soft planting to create a welcoming and practical outdoor space in the heart of the Cotswolds.
